Yes,  Alison is a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed with the state of  Oregon. Kelly is a Registered Associate with the state of Oregon. They  both have extensive training in testing for standardized assessments and have over 30 years of combined experience doing assessments and diagnoses. They have over 40 years combined experience working with students with dyslexia. They test for learning disorders and other diagnoses that coincide (such as ADHD and anxiety).

We do full cognitive and academic standardized testing that is fully recognized by most to all providers. If a diagnosis is made, it is almost always accepted by schools.

It depends on the individual, but we typically tell people that it may  be 3-5 years (with the natural vacations and breaks intermixed).

We typically see individuals who struggle with learning disorders, ADHD,  and anxiety who need a better understanding of their condition or help with self-esteem  and confidence around these diagnoses.

Yes, we can offer online assessments as long as you live in the state of Oregon. We can offer tutoring services online for anyone in the world.

Our tutors are extensively trained. Beyond the standard Barton training system, they also receive ongoing in-service training. Our licensed providers oversee tutoring progress and follow our tutoring students in a holistic manner, making sure progress is made.

Our clinicians have had specialized training in identifying learning  disabilities and dyslexia. They also have experience in identifying conditions associated with dyslexia such as anxiety and ADHD. In Addition, our clinicians are active members of several professional organizations and  regularly attend international conferences to acquire the latest information.
