Parent/Child Education

Executive Function Skill Training:


Interactive Notebook (in-person)

Parent and child work together, with clinician, to create an Executive Function Interactive Notebook.  Interactive Notebooks help children learn the content in a hands-on way that helps with information retention.  Children and parents will learn about what Executive Function is, what the different executive functioning skills are, strengths and weaknesses regarding executive function, and how to capitalize on those strengths and strengthen those weaknesses.

  • Child+1 Parent
  • approx 10 weeks
  • 60 minute sessions
  • Grades 4th-7th
  • $150 per session 
  • Families provide an 8.5x11 spiral notebook.  All other materials are provided



Executive Function Workbook (in-person or online)

Parent and child together with the clinician, work through the Executive Function Workbook.  This workbook is geared towards older children and is helpful for generating dialog between parent and child regarding executive function.  Children and parents will learn about what Executive Function is, what the different executive functioning skills are, strengths and weaknesses regarding executive function, and how to capitalize on those strengths and strengthen those weaknesses.

  • Grades 6th-10th 
  • $150 per session
